Basic Responsibilities
The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program includes two co-responsibilities that children must fulfill to receive cash transfers.
The aim of Benazir Taleemi Wazaif
Key Processes of the Taleemi Wazaif Programme:
i. Micro Supply Capacity Assessment (MSCA)
The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Registration Program 2025 begins with the Micro Supply Capacity Assessment (MSCA), where the BISP collects data on the capacity of both public and private schools. This includes factors such as available enrollment capacity, infrastructure conditions, accessibility, and catchment areas.
The purpose is to gather information before initiating registration and enrollment activities. When enrolling a child, the assessment of private schools’ supply capacity is conducted upon identifying the mothers.
ii. Social Mobilization:
Social mobilization plays a vital role in creating awareness among BISP beneficiary families about the importance of education. BISP field teams visit various localities in the respective districts to mobilize beneficiaries and encourage them to enroll their children in schools.
Additionally, they visit beneficiaries whose children have not complied with the requirements to understand the reasons behind non-compliance and motivate them to improve attendance.
During school closures, the completion of assignments, or vacations, BISP field offices conduct extensive mobilization activities.
iii. Registration and Enrolment:
Registration and enrollment are significant activities of the Taleemi Wazaif program. After the completion of the supply capacity assessment, a massive registration process begins, covering all potential beneficiaries.
Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Registration Program 2025: Potential families are invited to registration centers or tehsil offices established near their communities.
Beneficiary communication is conducted at the local level, and a wide-reaching Public Information Campaign (PIC) is launched through various media channels. Successful completion of the registration process qualifies families and their eligible children as beneficiaries of the program.
The objective of the registration process is to identify active BISP families with children in the age range of 4–12 years for primary education, 8–18 years for secondary education, and 13–22 years for higher secondary education and enroll them in the program.
iv. Admission and Attendance Compliance:
The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Registration Program provides cash transfers to beneficiary families on the condition that they comply with the admission and attendance requirements.
The objective of compliance is to ensure children fulfill their responsibilities, allowing their families to receive cash benefits. In cases of non-compliance, the cash transfers are stopped. The objectives of admission and attendance compliance are as follows:
Case Management
Case management is a crucial activity within the program. Beneficiaries can lodge various types of complaints through field offices, and the prompt resolution of these complaints not only improves the implementation efficiency of the program but also enhances the confidence of BISP beneficiaries in enrolling their children in schools.
The responsibility for handling all complaints primarily rests with the BISP field offices.
